Maximize Your Results & Boost Your Skin Health With the Latest Add-on Treatment

Our skin is one of the first things people notice about us, and it tells a lot about our overall health and well-being. So when your skin looks dull, aged or tired, it’s natural to want to rejuvenate your appearance. There are countless procedures available to help you reclaim a more youthful complexion and eliminate concerns like fine lines, wrinkles or redness, but now you can get the most out of your favorite skin care treatment with exosomes.

At De La Belle Wellness & Spa, we’re proud to offer our patients the option of exosome therapy, a new and emerging technique for skin rejuvenation and anti-aging. This noninvasive treatment add-on uses exosomes isolated from stem cells to boost the healing process, stimulate collagen production and reduce inflammation to enhance your treatment results.

Introducing the EXO|E Exosome Skin Revitalizing Complex

The EXO|E rejuvenation system is a complete and specially formulated set of active, naturally-occurring plant-derived stem cells that contain a concentrated dose of exosomes, liposomes, growth factors and anti-inflammatory factors. When applied to the skin, these beneficial ingredients boost recovery and enhance the results of procedures like microneedling and laser resurfacing by greatly stimulating the production of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid — the essential building blocks of a youthful complexion. EXO|E is a three-part treatment that can be added to any cosmetic procedure at De La Belle.

  1. D|TOX — Hydrate & prep your skin for an upcoming treatment.
  2. EXO|E — Delivers a concentrated dose of healing cells, exosomes and growth factors for highly targeted and enhanced results.
  3. RE|PAIR — Ten additional applications continued at home to help the skin heal and look more rejuvenated than ever.

The EXO|E skin care system is chemical-free, water-based and made in the USA, formulated to mimic the skin’s natural function to ensure perfect harmony. It also uses plant stem cell extracts, which are bioactive, biocompatible, and highly promising carriers of therapeutic agents that can be incorporated into specific cells.

What Are Exosomes?

Exosomes are small, nanosized structures that form inside a cell and contain some of its proteins, lipids and genetic information. They are naturally secreted into the blood by many different types of cells and act as messengers, traveling to other parts of the body to transfer the materials they contain and stimulate a desired response. When sent to damaged cells, these tiny messengers can also release growth factors to repair the damage, making them vital to the process of cell regeneration and tissue healing.

How Do Exosomes Work?

Exosomes can carry drugs directly to cells in the body and are being actively studied to develop new ways to diagnose and treat diseases like cancer. In the context of cosmetic treatments, exosomes act as a delivery system for various rejuvenating ingredients, such as growth factors, which improve the health and appearance of your complexion.

When used in skin care, exosomes have the ability to penetrate the skin and transfer their contents directly to the targeted cells, which can then be used to promote tissue repair, reduce inflammation, enhance healing, improve hydration and more. They are also thought to have anti-aging benefits and mimic the natural signaling pathways between cells.

This potential for rejuvenation has made exosomes “the next big thing in skin care,” able to prepare the skin for procedures like microneedling or laser resurfacing, enhance treatment outcomes, and dramatically improve the recovery process for reduced downtime.

What the Science Says

Research has shown the effectiveness of exosomes in treating skin concerns like aging, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, scarring and much more. One study conducted at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, demonstrated that exosomes achieved statistically significant improvements in overall skin health in as little as six weeks. Other studies and reviews demonstrate that exosomes boost collagen and elastin production to rebuild the dermal layer. In clinical trials, exosome therapy enhanced elastin by up to 300% and resulted in a six-fold increase in collagen, leading to noticeably smoother, firmer and more youthful skin.

“Exosomes have several abilities beneficial for skin tissue regeneration: (1) angiogenic ability, (2) collagen synthesis, and (3) regulation of inflammation. Using exosomes as the ingredient, current limitations of the skin treatments can be overcome.”

What Can Exosome Therapy Treat?

Exosomes can be combined with numerous treatments to improve the overall health and appearance of your skin. Some common concerns that can be addressed include the following:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Skin laxity
  • Dull complexion
  • Uneven skin tone
  • Rough, bumpy skin texture
  • Dryness
  • Enlarged pores
  • Dark spots
  • Redness
  • Hair loss

Give Your Treatment the EXO|E Factor

At De La Belle Wellness & Spa, exosomes are the “cherry on top” of your skin care regimen. When applied to the skin before, during and after treatment, they deliver regenerative molecules that repair damage, promote healing and stimulate the production of essential structural proteins like collagen. Exosomes are most commonly added to rejuvenating procedures such as microneedling, lasers, chemical peel and more.

Exosomes & Microneedling

This treatment combines the advanced EXO|E Skin Revitalizing Complex with collagen induction therapy, otherwise known as microneedling. During your procedure, dozens of tiny needles are used to puncture the skin and create controlled microinjuries, which stimulate the body’s healing process and open up channels into the deeper dermal layers. This also allows for exosomes to be applied and absorbed into the skin, where they’ll deliver growth factors and other rejuvenating ingredients where they’re needed most, further boosting collagen production and improving the tone, texture and overall appearance of your complexion.

Microneedling with exosomes is a minimally invasive treatment used to address a variety of common concerns, including enlarged pores, acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, stretch marks, dullness, discoloration, sun damage and skin laxity.

Exosomes & Laser Treatments

At De La Belle, we offer IPL photofacials, which use a broad spectrum of intense pulsed light to penetrate the deeper layers of your skin. During treatment, different wavelengths of laser energy target pigmented areas, where they’re absorbed and converted into heat to reduce the appearance of dark spots, redness, broken capillaries and other imperfections.

Exosomes can help prepare your skin for treatment and significantly improve the healing process afterward to reduce discomfort and downtime. They can also boost the results of your IPL photofacial by further repairing, strengthening and rejuvenating your skin.

Exosomes & Chemical Peels

Chemical peels revitalize your appearance by exfoliating the top layer of dead, damaged and dry skin cells to reveal a healthy complexion underneath. Meanwhile, exosome therapy promotes collagen production and cellular repair for more comprehensive results.

Together, both treatments can target different aspects of your skin health to address a wide range of concerns. When combined with chemical peels, exosomes can penetrate deeply into the skin to nourish your cells and boost the rejuvenating benefits. With deeper peels, exosomes can also reduce the discomfort, downtime and peeling associated with treatment.

Exosomes & Other Treatments

In addition to microneedling, chemical peels and IPL photofacials, exosomes can also be added to other rejuvenating procedures such as the Subnovii Plasma Pen or microdermabrasion. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can Exosomes Be Used on Their Own?

Yes, exosomes transport not only water-soluble cargoes like proteins and RNA, but also lipophilic molecules. Therefore, they are able to carry bioactive lipids and penetrate all layers of the dermis on their own. They can be used in combination with laser services, microneedling and other skin care procedures, or alone with non-penetrating treatments.

How Do Exosomes and PRP Differ?

Exosomes and PRP are two different regenerative therapies that are often used in skin care, and while they have some similarities, there are also important differences between the two. The most notable distinction is the source — PRP is derived from the patient’s own blood, while our exosomes are isolated from plant-based stem cells. Additionally, exosomes contain a more diverse range of molecules and growth factors.

Are Exosomes More Potent Than PRP?

Exosome therapy can be thought of as an “upgraded” version of PRP. While exosomes are somewhat comparable to PRP, they are up to 100x more powerful and contain more than triple the amount of growth factors. Additionally, exosomes don’t require a blood draw during treatment in order to extract the beneficial ingredients.

Are Exosomes Safe for Use in Skin Care?

Exosome therapy is a relatively new and evolving field, and more research is needed to fully understand its safety and efficacy. However, early studies suggest that exosome therapy is generally safe and well-tolerated, with few side effects.

How Are Exosomes Administered?

Exosome therapy is typically administered as a topical treatment, either alone or in combination with other skin care treatments, such as microneedling or laser resurfacing.

  • To prepare the skin pre-procedure for services like RF microneedling, microneedling, resurfacing and other aesthetic treatments.
  • To enhance treatment outcomes and optimize patient results.
  • With or without a treatment for a dramatically improved, youthful appearance.

How Do Exosomes Work To Rejuvenate My Appearance?

Exosomes contain signaling molecules, proteins, growth factors and other beneficial ingredients that can help to promote skin cell regeneration, stimulate collagen production, and reduce inflammation. In other words, exosomes are used to boost the body’s natural healing process to enhance the results of cosmetic skin treatments and reduce recovery.
